MISSION
ACA produces sporting events to increase awareness of HIV/AIDS, raises funds for eradication research and supports service organizations working to reduce transmission, educate the public and improve the lives of those affected by HIV/AIDS.
RIDE TO SUCCESS
Our mission is achieved using friendship, respect and sportsmanship to inspire our community toward a world where HIV/AIDS is part of history.
PROFILE
ACA is an all-volunteer organization.
100% of money raised by participants goes to our beneficiaries.
Since 2003, ACA has raised over $3.2 million for AIDS vaccine research at the Emory Vaccine Center as well as for other Atlanta-area AIDS service organizations.
WHO WE ARE
We are individuals from diverse backgrounds - young, old, gay and straight - who share common interests: a love of physical activity, a desire to build community and a passion to create a better world. We are enthusiastic and committed people who challenge and support one another to achieve the exceptional in fitness, personal growth and philanthropy.
We believe that there is no limit to what a group of like-minded individuals can achieve.
OUR GIVING PHILOSOPHY
Written into the bylaws of Action Cycling Atlanta is its commitment to adhere to the standards set forth by the Better Business Bureau’s Wise Giving Alliance. We seek to minimize event overhead in order to maximize our contribution to recipients. To date, 100% of the money raised by ride participants has been donated to our beneficiaries. Action Cycling Atlanta is able to do this by underwriting the cost of the event through registration fees and generous event sponsors.

Our by-laws state that we will adhere to the standards set forth by the Better Business Bureau's Wise Giving Alliance (give.org). Before we decide to pursue a fundraising opportunity, we carefully evaluate whether we can return a substantial net contribution to our beneficiaries.
