The Ride

For its 20th anniversary, the AV200 will offer a new and exciting location, ride design, and routes to satisfy riders of all levels and styles. Traditional and team options will continue to be supported and the virtual ride will continue for its 3rd year. The ride offers a unique opportunity for riders to push themselves to new limits while also making a difference in the fight against HIV and AIDS.

New this year, the ride features three different ride lengths each day. While the routes will differ from Saturday to Sunday, each day of the two-day ride will feature a 100-mile, a 60-mile, and 30-mile route option, offering a diverse experience for riders of all levels. And for those who cannot commit to the full weekend, a one-day ride option is also available on Saturday of ride weekend. Finally, on Sunday, we’re excited to offer a shorter Fun Ride option for family and friends of riders to join in the fun. With pitstops located approximately every 20 miles, riders will have plenty of opportunities to rest and refuel.

Safety is a top priority of the AV200, and routes have been carefully designed to take riders through scenic roads away from heavy traffic. To this end, this year features a new location for the ride: the beautiful Oxford College at Emory University. Each day will begin and end at Oxford College and riders who register for the two-day ride will spend the evening the dormitories at Oxford. This is a great opportunity to bond with fellow riders and create lasting memories.

The registration fee is $125 for the two-day event, $75 for the one-day event, and $20 for the fun ride. Register early and get started today!

Fundraising goals are described elsewhere in detail, but a minimum of $500 is required for all two-day riders, $250 for all one-day riders, and $20 for the fun ride.
