HRC Atlanta Honors Action Cycling Atlanta

Atlanta – Human Rights Campaign (HRC) Atlanta will honor Action Cycling Atlanta and the annual AIDS Vaccine 200 Bicycle Ride (AV200) with the Dan Bradley Humanitarian Award. Action Cycling Atlanta Raises $1.8 Million

Annual bike ride releases this year’s total and presents checks

Atlanta – In twelve years since a group of cyclists formed Action Cycling Atlanta to raise awareness and support for the Emory Vaccine Center at Emory University, the nonprofit has raised more than $1.8 million. All proceeds from the group’s annual 200-mile bike ride benefit AIDS vaccine research and Atlanta HIV/AIDS service organizations.  Read More…


 

Four added to Action Cycling Board

Action Cycling Atlanta adds four new members to its board and continues planning its 13th AIDS Vaccine 200, slated for May 16-17, 2015

Atlanta – Action Cycling Atlanta (www.AV200.org), the all-volunteer group which produces the annual AV200 fundraiser, recently added four new Board Members: Chris Arrington, First Vice President, Treasury & Payment Solutions, SunTrust Bank; Scott Drinkard, Director, Learning Technical Training for Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta; Drew Plant, a public relations strategist who is the principal of Plant Communications, LLC; and Chuck Podgurski, an independent consultant specializing in Organizational Transformation.  Read more…
