HRC Atlanta Honors Action Cycling Atlanta
Atlanta – Human Rights Campaign (HRC) Atlanta will honor Action Cycling Atlanta and the annual AIDS Vaccine 200 Bicycle Ride (AV200) with the Dan Bradley Humanitarian Award. The award will be presented at the annual HRC Atlanta Gala Dinner on May 2 at the Hyatt Regency, downtown Atlanta. Read more…

Action Cycling Atlanta Raises $1.8 Million
Annual bike ride releases this year’s total and presents checks
Atlanta – In twelve years since a group of cyclists formed Action Cycling Atlanta to raise awareness and support for the Emory Vaccine Center at Emory University, the nonprofit has raised more than $1.8 million. Atlanta – Action Cycling Atlanta (www.AV200.org), the all-volunteer group which produces the annual AV200 fundraiser, recently added four new Board Members: Chris Arrington, First Vice President, Treasury & Payment Solutions, SunTrust Bank; Scott Drinkard, Director, Learning Technical Training for Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta; Drew Plant, a public relations strategist who is the principal of Plant Communications, LLC; and Chuck Podgurski, an independent consultant specializing in Organizational Transformation.
